Built in 1894. This 0 grade shotgun has minimal border engraving on the lock plates. It is stocked in streaky dark walnut, with a checkered pistol grip butt stock with a dogs butt plate. It has a checkered splinter forend with steel tip insert. Damascus steel barrels with a single brass bead sight. This shotgun is in good to very good condition. The barrels have a darkened to brown with a fine twist pattern remeain, and a few areas rubbed bright and some wear under the forend. There is a dent on bottom of right barrel about half way between the muzzle and breach. The receiver retains minimal color with a gray/brown patina overall. The stock is solid, with hairline cracks adjacent to both locks and a small chip behind top tang. The checkering is smooth,
and there are the usual nicks and dings. The forend is solid, with the checkering worn nearly smooth and some darkening around the iron. The mechanics are good, with original hammers and the barrels show moderately pitted bores.
