Note: This Tobin shotgun was manufactured as a trade brand name shotgun. The barrels are marked "Blue Diamond" steel. The gun was sold by the Norvell-Schapleigh Hardware Co. of St. Louis from 1903-1915. Tobin Arms was located in Norwich, CT 1903-1907 and Canada from 1909-1923. The gun has been refreshed at some point. The barrels are nicely rust blued and pass the bell ring test. Bores are bright with light pitting ahead of the chamber area. Gun is on the face with lots of life in the top lever. This is an extractor sidelock. The length of pull is 14.5" over a traditional red rubber pad. The drop at the comb is 1.5" and at the heel 2.5". The barrels are choked. Improved cylinder modified.
