Tobin Arms 12ga Side Lock Side by Side Shotgun
Description:
Tobin Arms Side Lock Side by Side Shotgun
Caliber: 12ga
Barrel: 30"
Note: This is a Canadian made Tobin shotgun from the 1909 - 1925 period. Formerly Tobin had been in Norwich, Connecticut. In 1909, Tobin relocated to Woodstock, Ontario. He finally closed his doors in 1925.
Condition: for the most part, the barrels have turned a plum brown; the stock is fitted with an old White Line recoil pad that has hardened with age; bores are bright; left bore has a couple of pits on the left side; the gun is choked full and full; no major stock damage other then handling and wear; top lever is just past center; with forend off, barrels are slightly off face; minor gunsmithing can fix that problem, giving a new gun owner lots of potential use!
