Browning Superposed Gr I RKLT 20ga - New Listing
Description:
1963 ‘Lightening’ model 26½” M/IC 'field' gun for 20ga 2-3/4" and 3" shells. Selective trigger, ejectors, 1-3/8” x 2-1/16” x 14¼” (factory standard) to Browning butt plate. 6Lbs. 3 oz. All original matching, serial-numbered parts including the wood. Action is tight – bores are bright. Function is flawless.
Used condition with a little honest 'case' and 'carry' wear on the edges to original blue finishes. VERY few light handling marks in the wood finish, which also appears original. Photos are intended to convey the general condition of this item. I have attempted to show the obvious marks, (i.e., the 4 nicks on the bottom of the butt stock from the previous owner). I believe all will polish-out with Browning wood finish polishing compound. I will attempt to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge and experience with regard to Superposed details and history, and will be happy to provide additional photos of specifically requested details for your own confirmation. There are a lot of Gr I 20's in this configuration on the market. As a buyer myself, I can relate with the need to establish condition, authenticity, and individual-based valuations of items represented on the Internet. They are not all the same - ask questions - look carefully at the details - choose wisely so you end-up with the nicest gun that suits your needs, for the best value.
Note: This is a different serial number than my other '63 Gr I 20ga 'field' sold 8/10/17 in listing #100796017. I purchased this one 'used' in the year 2000 and it has remained in the safe since. Lenny Rees (Historian) was not able to find an original invoice for this serial number so there is no need to trouble him.
Transaction Details:
I will provide a mailing address for funds and FFL copy once buyer notifies me and commits to purchase. Buyer pays anything in excess of $35 shipping and insurance costs (UPS Ground) to lower 48. No International shipments. Payment by Personal Check, Certified Check, or Money Order. 7-day waiting/clearance period applies to all except Postal Money Orders. Enclose a copy of the transferring dealer/agent's FFL with payment. 3-day non-shooting, non-disassembly inspection. Gun does not leave the receiving FFL until either transferred to the new owner or returned via that FFL. If you are not satisfied with the item as priced, just notify me and I will provide a return FFL. Return item in the same condition and as packaged and insured for purchase amount to my FFL holder. I will re-inspect the item and refund the sale price less my initial shipping and insurance costs plus $25 re-transfer fees from my FFL. Feel free to ask questions and request photos of specific views via e-mail feature below. Thank You for your interest and Please check my other listings. References available. 'Happy Hunting'!
