#53748, Browning Grade III (Fighting Cocks) 12 Bore Engraved & Signed by Master Felix Funken built in 1958 with 28” Solid Rib barrels at .729 .011 & .019" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), Browning factory marked Imp.Cyl & Mod., 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger, Grade III engraving with the Fighting Cocks on the left & Pheasants on the right, Both sides are signed by Funken, Round knob / long tang stock at 14 1/4" x 1 3/4 x 1 7/8" over a 1” pad, Cast-On for the Left Hand, 7 lbs. 14 oz.; The gun is quite honest except for the pad and some work on the comb of the stock, The barrel blue is 88%, The checkering is 98%, The wood has been re-oiled and now at 92%, The engraving has never been brushed and remains at 90%, The bores are excellent. This gun was a special order gun as it does not have the serial number under the toplever and it was Gold inlaid with the owners name; Jim McKittuck. It was built for a Left Hand shooter with about 3/8" Cast-On.
