Piotti Monaco 28 Gauge - NO. 2 ENGRAVED, UPGRADED UPGRADED WOOD, AS NEW!
Description: Piotti Monaco 28 Gauge Side-by-Side NO. 2 ENGRAVED, UPGRADED WOOD, AS NEW! General Specs: Piotti, Year 1993, 28 Gauge, 5lbs 9oz, SxS Serial Number: 9158 Piotti shotguns are considered Italian "BEST" guns and are equal to any double guns made in the world. A full sidelock Holland style action, engraved by Italy's best, stocked to the fences, chopper lump barrels, action machined out of a solid billet of Boehler steel (the best the gun industry has to offer), all actions hand filed and shaped, with each gauge getting its own scaled frame size, all combine to make a fine game or clays gun. The "Monaco" is the very best quality side by side Piotti has to offer and has hundreds of hours of additional hand finish work inside and out. This fine little 28ga. Monaco, sn9158 made in 1993, is one of the most stunning guns we have had in our possession. Weighing just 5lbs. 9oz. with 28" barrels choked IC/M, special order Exhibition Turkish walnut (a $3000 upgrade!) English style stock, engraving by world renowned master engraver Stefano Muffolini to the patented Monaco #2 pattern, extra cost gold grouse inlaid on the trigger guard and gold woodcock inlaid on the top lever, extra cost hidden hand detachable locks, extra cost articulated front trigger, extra cost gold serial numbers and makers name, extra cost gold oval for initials (blank), this gun is stunning and presents as new. The wood is the best I have seen in a long, long time. To order this gun new would cost $60,000 and you would have at least a year's waiting time to receive it. This gun can be had at a fraction of that cost today! A Piotti Monaco is a working piece of gunmaker's art that will continue to be more valuable as time goes by. Realize this is an investment in a tangible asset, a valuable piece of art, that you can actually use for upland birds and breaking clays while it increases in value. What a great privilege to own such a fine shotgun!
