Description:
A very early Presentation Series Browning. Built in 1977, it went to Jaquas 12/4/78 and was sold from there. A very scarce P2N 3 barrel set with multiple gold inlays. It has 28 inch barrels, all bored skeet. This gun is unaltered in any way and in excellent condition, having been used little, if at all. No blue wear and just some handling marks on the wood you might experct after 40 years. Superbly engraved by J Baerten and SIGNED on both sides. Most Presentation guns were not signed and this engraver was among the best at Browning. The nicely figured stock has an LOP if 14 5/8 inches over the factory pad. The drops are 1 3/8 x 1 7/8 inches--great shootable dimensions. The original 3 barrel Hartman case is also in excellent condition. This is the way you like to find them. A scarce, very collectable, but perfectly shootable Presentation Browning. Look this gun up in Schwings book. I don't think there were many sets like this. The price INCLUDES insured shipping to the lower 48. I think you'll find it very fair, especially if you check recent sales.
