AyA No. 2 in 20 Gauge 28” Barrels - Beautiful Wood - 51 53
Description:
Just in time for hunting season is this beautiful AyA No. 2 made in 1961. Deeply cut engraving, highly figured walnut stock and beavertail forearm, Gold AyA logo engraved on toplever, hand detachable locks, selective ejectors, beautiful "Old Silver" finish, and single selective trigger. *** This is an early model No. 2 that has the hidden third fastener for a stronger action for volume shooting. Weight is 6lb 15oz. The 28” barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” shells and are topped by a solid raised crosshatched rib. The right barrel is bored 0.611 and has a constriction of 0.014 for Modified choke. The left barrel is bored 0.612 with a constriction of 0.029 for Full choke. *** The highly figured walnut stock has a Prince of Wales style pistol grip with plastic grip cap. The beavertail forearm provides a solid grip. Checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2” to a checkered butt by 1-3/8” by 2”. Slightly cast off for the right handed shooter. The metal finish on the frame shows no wear and there is little wear on the bluing. The stock and forearm do have a few handling marks. The gun has been shot very little and is in excellent mechanical condition. A new one today will price out around $7,000. This is a really good buy for a great smallbore made by a prestigious Spanish maker. Don’t let it get away. *** I am an FFL and will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL license. Not for sale where prohibited by state or local laws. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
