WINCHESTER Model 21 CSM EXHIBITION ENGRAVED SIDE X SIDE ... 20 Gauge ... 28" barrels ... 2 3/4" chambers ... choke IC/Mod ... single selective trigger ... tapered vent rib.
Fascinating and breathtaking can not describe this gun. Please see the photos. The receiver is extensively engraved on both sides, top and bottom with multi-colored game birds, dogs, beautiful scroll and vegetation. Different colored gold bands and engraving are also on the breech end of the barrels. This work is signed on the right side of the trigger plate "Capece".
The wood is exhibition grade feathery burl walnut in a dark color with an extremely 'deep' high gloss finish. From the beaver tail forend to the butt plate, extensive engraving and checkering are seperated by gold wire borders which set off the various patterns. Just ahead of the extensively engraved skeletal butt plate is a 'yet to be initialed' inlaid gold oval. Again, please examine the photos because this gun defies description. It defines the old saying, "one of a kind." Only two of these guns are manufactured each year and the current price is $50,000 each.
