Grulla Model 216 RL 28GA Exhibition Wood Excellent Original Condition with Box
Description: I have for sale a beautiful Grulla Model 216 RL in 28 gauge. This is the round action model built on a scaled 28 gauge frame. This gun has 28 inch chopper-lumb barrels with smooth concave solid rib and chokes of Improved cylinder (.007) and Modified (.011). Both bores measure .555 and in perfect condition. Chambers are 2 3/4 inches. The stock on this gun is straight english grip, with a splinter forend as nice as any I've seen and has dimensions of 1 1/2" X 2 1/4" X 14 9/16" over the checkered butt, with cast off for the right hand shooter. . Finish is a nice hand rubbed oil and checkering is perfect. Forend has the Anson push button release. Oval in the stock is vacant. The round body receiver is engraved with rose and scroll pattern and is signed M. Fran. It is accented with gold lined cocking indicators. This gun has everything you would want in a high grade side by side with double triggers, front being articulated, bushed firing pins, automatic safety, rolled trigger guard, and of course that beautiful wood. This particular gun weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces making it a joy to carry and has great balance with the 28 inch barrels. Trigger pulls are light and crisp and measure 3 pounds on the front trigger and 4 pounds on the rear. Condition of the gun is great with only a couple of marks on the stock, none which detract from the beauty of the wood. Gun comes with the original and correct box numbered to the gun and the owner's manual. If this gun were ordered new today it would cost right at $11,000 and probably wouldn't have wood this nice. Price of this gun is $6200 plus $75 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period on this gun with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned. SOLD |
