Guns International #: 100448291
Seller's Inventory #: 26786
An excellent example of a fixed lock made in 1925. The rifle retaining 98% of an older restoration with bright, vibrant case colors and deep, rich blacked barrels and furniture. Chambered for the popular and versatile .450/400 3" cartridge, the bores are bright and sharp throughout with just the faintest evidence of cordite burn. The rifle was probably not hunted after restoration as it exhibits very minor handling marks on the buttstock and nothing remarkable on the metalwork. Very well balanced with full length matted rib and five leaf rear sight to 500 yards. Attractive, well figured stock with 15 1/8" LOP over a Silver's pad. Action body and furniture fully engraved in classic Westley Richards bold scroll. This is an increasingly scarce rifle in a versatile and sought after cartridge ready for your next African Safari.
