Dakota Model 10 270 Win "Custom" by Penrod/Gervais/Evans

**Pre-Owned** A fantastic custom rifle from the combinded talents of Mark Penrod, Metalsmith, Mike Gervais, Stockmaker, and Robert Evans, Engraver. Using the Dakota Model 10 as a platform and stocked in well figured Turkish Walnut this is the perfect union of artistry in steel and wood. Excellently proportioned, well balanced and perfectly executed this is the etipome of fine gunmaking. The rifles has been hunted and the wood has minor handling marks which are evidence of some great days spent afield. The barrel retains 95% of the original rust blue, while the French Grey shows a very small amount of discoloration from oxidation. The buttplate has some surface wear, normal to hunting use and the bore in in mint condition throughout. The horn forend tip has a small surface crack which has been professionally repaired. Markers are marked on the underside of opening lever, Penrod also marked his work on bottom of the barrel at the breech. A wonderful rifle at less than half the replacement cost.
