ONE OF A KIND FACTORY ENGRAVED WINCHESTER LO-WALL SCHUETZEN RIFLE
Description: Features a #4 heavy weight barrel that is matted on 3 sides. Winchester legend is located on the left side of the barrel as well as the "22 Short" caliber marking. A very interesting gun featured in Campbell's Single Shot book page147-148 with several pictures. It has Stevens features with Stevens style aluminum buttplate, a Pope Stevens finger lever, Pope style sights and a Stevens scope as well as the dimensions of the stock being definitely Stevens. The lever is nickel plated. The engraving I believe is done by Stokes with the tight scroll work. An absolutely beautiful gun. Stock retains most of the oil finish. Barrel has about 95% blue. Excellent bore. Receiver has a touch of brown on it but still retains about 90% blue with traces of plum appearing. Crisp action. Correct double set triggers. This one is excellent inside and out!
