Rare Grade 6 (A Grade) 10ga #4 Frame Parker Hammer gun- Best quality Gun with STUNNING Engraving!!!
Description: Rare early Grade 6 (A Grade) made when these were the highest grade Parker offered. Truly exceptional and likely Gough engraved in full coverage scroll and game scenes in extraordinary detail. This gun made with 32" Damascus barrels which have been shortened to 28", splinter forend, pistol grip buttstock, double triggers. This gun was originally found in upstate New York in a trailer with the original buttstock in a state of disrepair. The stock was restored by Brian Dudley of BMD Gun Stocks. Receiver retains about 35% original case colors, mostly in protected areas. Barrels retain nearly all of their restored Damascus pattern. The full steel buttplate is engraved to match and proper for the period. This gun has some of the finest engraving I have seen on any early Parker. The game scenes are outstanding and the gun is a beautiful beast being a rare #4 frame 10ga. This gun was in the middle of an order of 8 A Grades - all consecutively numbered - and shipped to Meacham Hardware. These guns sold for $300 when new in 1883!!! This extremely rare gun is priced at $8995 plus shipping. It can be shipped directly to your door as an antique. Please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions or reasonable offers on this rare gun.
