Description:
WW2 OR WWII BRITISH PATTERN 1907 SMLE BAYONET & SCABBARD BY WILKINSON. 21 3/4" overall with 17" fullered blade. Ricasso struck with WSC and 1907 and other acceptance stamps including '43 date. 1st 1/2 inch blue with remaining blade sand blasted. Edge with correct slight sharpening. Original wood grip panels held with screws. Traces of blue on un-quilloned guard and pommel. Excellent condition leather scabbard in bootblack with crisp "W" and "CFD" maker's stamps. Hardware blue with no dings. Nice example.
