Here's one of the guns that won the west ! This little guy has , no doubt, put a lot of game on the dinner table in it's 108 years. Built in 1914 and looks it . Blueing about 90 % gone however the wood is excellent. It's original oil finish needed cleaning so I got out the 0000 steel wool and de greaser. Now it looks great, no cracks, splits . We loaded it up with .22 shorts, fired them all , pump action worked perfectly and smoothly. The rifling is poor however we shot ahalf inch group at 25 yards. That would hit a squirrels head easily. The 1890 is one of the finest looking rifles ever built by anyone. They seem to not wear out. Many are still around, still putting game on the table. Thanks, Ed
