"Unmarked Knife Pistol with Unwin & Rodgers Marked Sheath (AH8364)

Description:
"Made circa 1840. 50 caliber with a 3 ½" barrel. This is a British box lock pistol with a 10 ½" blade The blade is an integral part of the trigger guard. The blade was most likely fitted to this pistol by the firm Unwin & Rogers who is mostly known for making pocket knife pistols. This could be a prototype. The pistol is fitted with a scabbard with the Unwin & Rogers markings.
