Built in 2005 by champion shooter Doug Koenig for a close friend as a long-range deer and coyote rifle, serial C6724438 is a one-owner rifle that has seen fewer than 150 rounds. ACCURACY: Performance is outstanding, with several 400-yard groups recorded as measuring less than three inches center-to-center. The taped drop table shows minus 11 inches at 400 yards with a 300-yard zero. Load development was done by Carl Bernosky. Features include a 25-inch Hart barrel (unrecorded twist, .665-inch muzzle diameter), blue-printed action, tuned trigger, Z-Plate metal finish, tuned (factory) trigger, pillar bedding and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. 30mm rings are attached. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 8.6 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.3 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Trigger pull is akin to breaking a glass rod. Metal finish is well over 95 percent. Stock finish is strong and suggests only careful handling.
