Description: 1950 Colt Lightweight Commander in .38 Super cartridge, first year Colt production of the Lightweight Commander model. This pistol came from the family of the original owner. Pistol is in excellent condition other than thinning of finish on alloy frame. Action is tight and cycles as intended. Grips are original and in very good condition. Bore is excellent with strong rifling. I love the Colt LW Commander and carry a 1951 version in this caliber in a cross draw holster. I am amazed at the flat shooting & hard hitting .38 Super cartridge, and can't tell you how much I appreciate a full sized Colt that is so light on my belt. A top vintage carry 1911 in excellent condition that comes in a Colt replacement box. Add 3% if paying with credit card . Free shipping for all US Veterans.
