These were made in Eibar, Spain from 1915-1937. Features a 22 inch round barrel chambered in 44-40 caliber with a full length magazine tube. Bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a blade front and folding ladder carbine rear. Excellent markings."CAL. 44 L" caliber marking which means "44 Largo", the Spanish name for .44-40 W.C.F. Overall metal retains about 97% blue. Vivid case colors on the hammer and lever. Correct saddle ring. Crisp action. Stocks are in very good condition with a few scattered impressions. Also includes the cleaning rod. This would make a great little shooter for a fraction of the price of what a Winchester Model 1892 would cost you in this condition.
