Here's a Excellent Example that was shipped in 1914 went through WW1 and WW2 Colt 1911 with Great History! Serial number 106362. 455 caliber . Used in WW1 & WW2 gun is so marked with correct inspector marks for both wars ! Gun has a light blue brown patina finish with traces of strong blue in protected areas ! Metal is Sharp gun Stands Tall. Original grips are in excellent condition. Gun has original sights . Bore and mechanics are in excellent condition. Gun locks up tight .
