Bucking the Tiger, the 19th Century's most famous card game of the American West. This deck was originally made by Jazaniah Ford circa 1785 the first maker of playing cards in America. Then by Samuel Hart circa l848 the game of Faro was a favorite of such notables as Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. Almost every saloon from east and west had a Faro table. Bucking the Tiger was a common name hung on a shingle outside most gambling establishments. These decks come paper wrapped. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
