 US M1917 Bayonet & First Type Scabbard  
Description: This Remington marked 1917 bayonet remains in very good condition with crisp stampings, 95% finish on blade and 90% blue on guard and pommel with some oxidation stains and areas of light scale on pommel. The first pattern scabbard is marked "G + K" over 1917 indicating manufacture by Graton and Knight of Worcester Ma. The russet leather hanger shows stitching in the "Jewell" pattern. Chape and throat are stamped 'GF" in oval, back of body stamped "E.J.B." Scabbard remains in excellent condition . A fine example of this WW1 bayonet in a correct scabbard.
