1810-20 WARRANTED EAGLE HEAD ARTILLARY SWORD & BRASS SCABBARD, 13 STAR ETCHED SHIELD ON BLADE, LIBERTY HAT, PIKE

Description:
It is hard to find a ornate brass scabbard with the original sword. This eagle head sword has a military motifs with 13 star sheild, warranted ,on the blade. It was sold in 1987 and has a British makers on the tag , but I belive it was made by ,A. BERGER IN THE UNITED STATES. The grip has some repaired damage, and the wire wrap is misssing, the knuckle bow is either broken of missing the chain hand guard. There are a couple of tiny nick in the blade , but over all a great early artillary sword and scabbard. 859-533-5445
