Knuckle guard has regimental Badge of Scots Guards and motto: Nomo me impune lacessit (No one provokes me with impunity). Blade is approximately 32” and has royal cypher of King George the V, along with areas of service. Ricasso is marked “W. Cater & Co. ltd 62 Pallmall S.W.”. Rayskin grip is very good. Approximately 38” overall. Blade is in original factory polish. Scabbard, which is unusually somewhat “tatty”, is near excellent. Excellent condition overall.
