British M1853 Confederate Cavalry Sword

SOLD-Unmarked British pattern M1853 sword produced for Confederacy. These unmarked cavalry swords are recognized as having been produced in England for sale to the Confederate States. This is an outstanding example with a very good blade, retaining 85-90 % of the original polish, above average grip and
undamaged matching scabbard. These swords were imported through the Union blockade for use by the Confederate cavalry. The scabbard has the taller pointed ring mounts found on Civil War era swords. A great addition to your Civil War collection and an above average sword with original scabbard. The same sword
marked "Mole" will cost $3-4,000 even though they were all issued for Confederate use. English used versions of this sword carried English markings. Thank you for looking! No
