This is a post-war peaked cap (mens metric size 56) with khaki cloth crown and earth brown woven band with the three embroidered rank stars of a ?Porucznik? (1st Lieutenant) at the front under a bullion wire Polish Army emblem (the Polish Eagle perched on an Amazon shield). The brown patent leather peak has a single embroidered wire trim and a buckle-equipped brown leather chinstrap is held by two eagle buttons at the front of the cap. The interior has a wide perforated leather comfort band, khaki satin lining, lozenge-shaped sweat shield, and maker's label. The cloth is in fine shape with some mild wear along the edge of the crown disk, some minor stains on the interior lining, and the cap itself is slightly misshapen due to storage but this is easily rectified with a form. This is a neat piece of Polish militaria in very good-fine condition.
