We just purchased this M34 Nazi Fire Police (Feuerschutzpolizie) helmet from the veteran's family where it has been in storage for 50 plus years. It really is in excellent shape overall with great original paint, excellent original decals, and a fully-intact and complete liner and chinstrap. These lighter-weight M34 helmets were worn by the Nazi Fire Police in Germany as well as the occupied territories starting in 1936 thru the end of WW2. In the last stages of the war many of these ended up on the front lines in combat as the Nazi empire crumbled and every able bodied German was thrust into the fighting. As you can see from the pictures, the helmet has a very attractive patina showing on the original satin black paint with nice bright and 95%+ intact original decals. The original leather liner, top pad, and chinstrap are in very good condition with nice flexible leather that hasn't dried up and become brittle. We applied a light application of Blackrock leather conditioner to most of the leather surfaces to preserve them. The hardware on the chinstrap is in excellent condition and the dual slide-buckle adjustments are in perfect working order. If you have been looking for a really cool looking Nazi helmet to display with your Luger this double-decal Nazi Fire Police helmet would be a great choice. It is very rare for us to come across one of these in such great condition that has never been on the collector's market before.
