Bore has pitting and frosting visible in the lands and grooves, rifling remains strong. Top of the receiver is marked ""W PALMER/PATENT/DEC.22.1863"", lock plate is marked ""U.S./E.G. LAMSON & CO./WINDSOR. VT"" with 1865 stamped rear of hammer. Stock shows light handling and usage marks with sharp cartouche noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. One of 1001 manufactured!
