Metal Condition: Metal to a soft patina, remnants of case color remain, all metal part seem original.
Wood Condition: Heavy use, lots of beauty marks but no open cracks.
Bore Condition: Very good.
Barrels: 22" round barrel with a single barrel band.
Triggers: Pull.
Stock: Original stock showing all cartouche's and "U.S." on the top of the butt plate and the original cleaning rods are still inside the stock.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP: 13 1/4".
Fore End: No checkering and a barrel band.
Butt Pad: Steel shotgun butt.
Sights: Blade front and military rear sights.
Extras: This is a gem of an 1873 Carbine.
