The 3 unwrapped mags (new when unwrapped but currently in used condition) came from the same batch as the 4 NIW mags being sold and are shown for illustration purposes only. The 3 unwrapped mags are not included in the sale.
As the 4 mags being sold have been stored in their original wrapping for a long period of time, in order to avoid the possibility of a buyer being dissatisfied, I carefully unwrapped each mag, inspected it to ensure there was no rust present, gave it a light coat of oil and re-wrapped it.
The Sterling Mark 4 submachine gun is often said to have one of the best magazines ever designed. It features a curve to allow the slightly tapered 9×19mm rounds to feed more reliably and the traditional magazine follower was replaced with a pair of rollers to minimize friction and allow dust, grit and dirt to be rolled out of the way.
The mags were also designed to be simple to disassemble for cleaning with no tools required. It’s one of the only SMG mags I've used that you can fully load by hand without ending up with a sore thumb as loading the last round is almost as effortless as the first round.
