FULL-AUTO East German KK-MPi-69 (22 LR) AK-47 Rimfire Rifle (Ohio Ordnance Works/OOW Import)

Description:
The pictured rifle is an all original East German KK-MPI-69 (Kleinkaliber-Maschinenpistole Modell 69) .22LR AK-type select-fire rifle. This rifle is one of the extremely few rare examples that were imported into the US after the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is chambered in 22 LR. Unlike most 22LR firearms inspired by other designs, a lot of which are a series of compromises and/or modifications, the KK-MPi 69 was built from the ground up as a 22LR. The East Germans made these as a weapon trainer for use by both the East German Army and the Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik (Sport and Technology Association) to prepare people for shooting the full-size 7.62x39mm AK-47 and 5.56x39mm AK-74. This rifle uses a dedicated 15-round magazine and comes with four of them. Most of these trainers were scrapped after the German reunification, but a rare few (such as this one) made it out.

This rifle is select fire in a full auto variation, with safe – semi and full- modes of operation. It comes standard with a 16“ barrel. The furniture is a brown polymer, with the typical German dimpling on the buttstock. The fore end and pistol grip match the buttstock. The rear sight has elevation notches for 25/50/75 and 100 yards and the front post is elevation adjustable, also. The length of pull measures approximately 12 ¾” inches. The metal finish is near new.

This rifle has been designated as a Post-86 Dealer sample. These guns can only be purchased by SOT dealers, manufacturers, military, and police agencies. Normally, for a dealer to make the purchase they must have a Law Letter from law enforcement. For this transaction, a law letter is not needed due to the Post 86 Sample being in possession of a dealer that is going out of business and will no longer carry their license, so the gun can be sold to a dealer without a law letter.  

Post Sample gun Form 3’s are clearly marked with a stamp that says “Restricted” on the approved ATF form 3.

Payment
On firearms, we typically only accept credit cards or money orders/cashier's checks.

• Sale prices reflect a 3.5% cash/money order discount. This discount is not valid for credit card purchases. Add 3.5% to the total cost for such purchases.
• Any purchases made in the state of Kentucky incur a 6% sales tax.
• On items $4995 and up, we cannot process credit card payments. We can always easily take checks or money orders. Contact us to discuss payment options if you like.

We, in certain cases, at our discretion, may agree to allow an item to be put on layaway. Layaways must be agreed to prior to purchase. Our layaway policy is 1/2 of the final total as down payment with 60 days to pay the balance. Cancellation results in a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price.

Shipping
We ship firearms via UPS and USPS. They must be sent to an FFL. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If you'd like a shipping estimate, please contact us through the and provide, at the very least, a ZIP code as to where the item would be sent.

• If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card.
• If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal.
• The exception is, obviously, serialized items.

Legal Policy
We can only ship items to areas in which they are legal. If you live in a more restrictive area, please check your local laws before or buying. We are, for the most part, willing to ship to the 50 states as long as it's legal. We may require proof of legality before proceeding with a transaction that is exempt from a normal law.

Serialized items must be transferred through an FFL. We do accept C&R's on any applicable items. You may have to pay your FFL a fee, which is not covered by this transaction. You are responsible to know and follow all laws (including shipping) in purchasing such items in your state.
NFA Information
Some items are regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA). This includes, but is not limited to, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and suppressors. Please check with your local and state municipalities for any further regulatory requirements. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure they comply with all NFA rules and applicable laws. Such items MUST be transferred to a Class 3 FFL via a Form 3, and then transferred to you via a Form 4 from your local Class 3 dealer. The process of getting a Form 3 approved by the BATFE takes on average 6-8 weeks. Your patience is appreciated.
