Marlin, 1895 JM 45-70

This listing is for a vintage, 1979, 1895 Marlin, stamped "JM" in 45-70 government; NOT THE CROSSBOLT SAFETY model. The rifle is in great mechanical condition, it is very clean, not a safe queen; however, a very sound rifle that shoots and functions as it ought to. The rifle has some handling marks and some bluing wear in a couple of areas, the bore is bright, clean and there are no pits. The loading gate has been changed out to a Ranger Point loading gate. The stock has been professionally refinished, there is a mark near the end of the forend, please see photo. If you have any questions or want more photos please ask.
