Swan Family by Fritz Bachmeyr
Description: (1944 - ) Oil on board. 23 1/2" x 17 1/2". Well framed. Born in Germany and recognized for early talent in music and drawing, Bachmeyr attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He immigrated to the US in 1963 at the age of 19 and continued to paint, restore art and play as a jazz drummer till being drafted into the US Army in 1967. He served in Vietnam and Germany until 1969. Since moving to Spokane, Fritz now paints portraits and mountain landscapes as well as classical and allegorical academic paintings.
