"GERMAN 1871/84 FIRST MODEL BAYONET WITH SHEATH (MEW4318)

Description:
"Original German 1871/81 first model bayonet with a 10" blade, 15" OAL with wood scales. Original leather sheath with metal fittings marked F4217 near the hilt. Ricasso is marked WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN. Condition is fair with some areas of pitting on the blade, some cracking on the handle and wear on the sheath.
