***SOLD pending funds*** Remington Model 1863 saber bayonet for the 1863 Zouave musket. Blade has heavy patina, with some bright spots and areas of heavy pitting, markings/stamps visible. The blade is straight and, although shows wear, the sharpened edge is indeed sharp. An ‘S’ is stamped on one side of the crosspiece, an ‘L’ is found on the other side, and the letters ‘BH’ are stamped on the upper flashguard, just below the muzzle ring. The ring itself measures approximately ¾-inch in diameter. The press stud functions. A great piece for re-enactor or shooter. See pictures for overall condition. $25 shipping, insured.
