The item for sale is an Audie Murphy autographed copy of his book "TO HELL AND BACK".  Audie is a true American hero and the most decorated soldier of WWII. The book copyright date is 1949. This copy is the 15th printing from 1955. Audie Murphy was born in Kingston, Texas in 1925. This copy of his book was found in a resale store in the south Texas town of Aransas Pass about a seven hour drive from where he was born. This is a paperback copy of the book publish by Permabooks. The colored covers are in good condition bright with out fading. The binding is good and tight with a small separation (approx 1 inch) of the cover and first page at the bottom of the front cover. The pages are in good condition, not marked on, not missing and some discoloration from age. Overall nice condition for a 65 year old book. Free shipping in the continental US for this item.
