Civil War Military 1/6 Plate Tintype of an Officer Identified Inside The Back To William H. Earl
Description:
An Early U.S. Civil War Military 1/6 Plate Tintype Of An Officer Identified Inside The Back To "William H. Earl" In Nice Untouched Condition. He is wearing a derby type hat as shown with gilt on the front insignia. The image is clear as shown with a slightly dark shade to it. It is in its original case as shown. I have not researched his name but did purchase this photo out of a Kansas City Collection. This Is A Fine Looking Example Of A U.S. Civil War Military 1/6 Plate Tintype Of An Officer Identified Inside The Back To "William H. Earl" That Needs Further Research Done On It. It Would Be A Nice Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
