Listing tonight a rare and unique music box lamp. This lamp is a 1970's on or before piece . This lamp plays Dixieland and is in the form of a cotton bale. I believe these cotton bale music boxes could be purchased down south in souvenir stores however this is the first example I've seen fabricated into a lamp. This piece plays a rendition of the song Dixieland. The lamp post is alittle loose and could be tightened by peeling back the geeen felt tightened the screw and reglue the felt. But I will leave that up to the buyer. The winding mechanics should not be overturned but gently turned. Dimensions are 11 inches in height by 7 inches in width. Pick-up COD in Worcester Massachusetts preferred with signature required after inspecting piece and deeming description fair and buyer satisfied with the transaction.
