Wyatt Earp tobacco tin made by his father, in overall good condition. The box came into Wyatts possession in 1907 after his father died. This was dictated by John Gilchries in February 1992. John Flood This item came from John Flood who was Wyatt and Sadie Earp’s personal Secretary and closest confidant. Mr. Flood even wrote a biography on Wyatt Earp that was never published. He was given and inherited numerous items from the Earp’s. Mr. Flood in turn passed the Earp collection on to John Gilchriese. Mr. Gilchriese owned and operated The Wyatt Earp Museum in Tombstone, AZ, where all of these items were displayed. These items were sold directly by Mr. Gilchriese to David Roberts along with Mr. Gilchriese’s notes on each item. Each item comes with a certificate of authenticity from Collectors Firearms.
