Board measures 16" tall and 40" long with wood frame, green felt back ground and 13 Stenciled pre number playing cards. It was made by F. Grote and Co at East 14th street in New York. He moved from here around 1871 so this rare folding board pre dates that era. This is the first folding Faro table we have ever seen. The screened cards on board are excellent. Felt shows some typical wear but the entire board is clean and very rare gamling item that would travel the mine and train camps.
