This is a herd of mustang horses from commissioned artwork from Chrysler Sales Division for their advertising in 1947, Saturday Evening Post. Print was presented as a Christmas gift to Chrysler Dealers in 1947. Reads "Merry Christmas and happy prosperous New Year" and has 13 signatures of Chrysler Corporation. His work was commissioned to feature horse power of Chrysler's spitfire engine group of all ten illustrations sold as lot at RM in 2004 for $8050. This is a period unlimited print and in the back pocket a copy of the two page ad from Saturday Evening Post. Clymer's work in advertising included paintings for White Horse Scotch Whisky, the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Chrysler Corporation.
