This little booklet consisting of some 2 dozen pages front and back was used by veterans of WWI to solicit money from citizens on the streets of New York and other major cities. Judging by the content, this particular booklet issue was being used by  veterans during the late 1920’s, near or during the early stages of the Great Depression. The contents are a time capsule of the world events, concerns and humor of former soldiers just trying to get by during that period.  A totally unique relic that has somehow survived intact and in very good condition.
