***SOLD***WW2 1941 Dated German Nazi-Occupation Czech P39(t) CZ38 Holster
** Excellent Condition "cga" Maker Code WaA920 Waffenamt
**
Description: ****SOLD**** This is a very nice all-original WW2 German hardshell leather holster for the CZ38 pistol. After Germany invaded and occupied Czechoslovakia in 1939, they quickly took control of the CZ arms plant. The .380 caliber CZ38 built there was given the German Military designation "P39(t)", and it was built to be distributed to various German Military personel. At the same time, the Germans started producing a holster for the pistol at several different leather goods firms that already made hardshell holsters for the P-38 and Luger. This particular example was made in 1941, as the two-digit date is stamped on the rear of the holster. The maker code "cga" is also stamped on the rear, as-is the Waffenamt "WaA920". This P39(t) holster is in excellent all-original condition. The leather is still soft and flexible, all of the original stitching is still fully intact, the factory black leather dye is still mostly intact, and all of the markings are 100% legible. There are some additional non-factory markings on the back face of the holster from the American G.I. that captured it. It consists of the name "J. Dibiase" and his military I.D. number of "35233927" lightly scratched into the leather. Both of the original belt loops are still intact and the metal flap closure hardware is still in great shape with most of the factory black painted finish still intact. Opening the top reveals the lifting strap still in perfect working order and an ink-stamped model designation of P39(t) that is nice and sharp. The extra magazine pouch on the side of the holster is in excellent condition. If you have been looking for a top-condition all-original holster for your WW2 Nazi CZ38 pistol this 1941-production example would be a superb choice. SOLD |
