German WW II Army BeVo machine woven M43 style cap insignia original!.
Description:
German WW II Army BeVo machine woven M43 style cap insignia.
This super nice original German Army M43 Bevo Cap Insignia was introduced in 1943 to wear on German Army M43 field caps from 1943-45.
This quality version in Bevo machine woven construction, likely made in 1943-4 features a high-quality executed gray German eagle with swastika over the red, white and black Reich cockade on a field gray “T” pattern trapezoid.
The backing fabric is on thin field gray rayon and is complete, just as it was when cut from the factory roll. Being an unissued, unworn example, it has no stitch holes, and no sign of ever been folded. The reverse is textbook German high-quality manufacture with details of the machine woven construction. It has only slight traces of age with condition near mint.
This insignia was also worn by Gebirgsjager (Mountain Troops) troops on their mountain caps, Bergmuetzen. Beautiful details, getting hard to find.
