"WWII German 1st Model Luftwaffe Sword by SMF (Solingen) – (SW2059)

Description:
"Original 1st Model Luftwaffe officer’s sword manufactured by SMF of Solingen. Features a 30" bright nickel-plated blade with a sharp and clearly visible “SMF" maker's motif. The blade's fuller runs approximately 12", and the original blue leather buffer pad is still present. Nickel-plated fittings have developed an attractive, untouched aged patina. The blue Moroccan leather-wrapped scabbard is in excellent condition, with only light scuffing marks noted. The scabbard throat is stamped “H35." A fine and well-preserved example of an early Luftwaffe officer’s edged weapon, complete with original finish and detailing.
