Model 1840 Wristbreaker cavalry sword that has been cut down to a 23.25"" blade with a slight curve, 22.5"" fuller. Ricasso is marked ""TIFFANY & Co./NEW YORK"" Blade is a grey patina with mottled discoloration visible. Guard a spurious ""CSA"" marking. Wire has been removed from the leather handle. Sword comes with a unique period correct homemade frog. Consignment
