RARE SMITH & WESSON 1926 .44 SPECIAL 3rd MODEL TARGET BOX
Description:
REDUCED! $750
Arguably, this is the rarest of the S&W Hand Ejector Model boxes - a maroon two-piece box for a post war Model 1926 .44 Special 3rd Model Transition Target revolver, made in the late 1940s. Only about 50-75 of these revolvers were made before being superseded by a 4th Model revolver of 1950.
The box is in spectacular original condition with clearly marked label - for a blued 6.5 inch barrel gun. Two of the lid corners appear to have a touch of glue on them - barely visible. If you are lucky to own this rare variation revolver - then you hit a jackpot, as I had never seen another example for sale in over 25 years.
$25 shipping in CONUS.
