Very Nice Velvet Lined Wood Presentation Box Colt Pocket 1849 Revolver W/Flask & Mold
Description: This is an antique red velvet lined wood presentation box for the Colt Model 1849 with barrel lengths up to 4 ½". The hinged mahogany box measures 10 ½" x 6" x 2 1/4" with a brass shield inlay on the top, side lock that is missing the key and has 5 lined compartments for the gun, bullet mold, flask, caps and small parts. The box is in near excellent condition with some light scratches and color transfer on the cover with a small age split on the bottom right corner that is stable. Included is an original .36 caliber bullet mold that is in very good cleaned condition, an eagle holding a revolver motif flask that works but has a missing metal chunk on the thumb release and an empty Winchester tin of foil lined percussion caps marked J.
