For sale is a hand-made, custom molded, Horsehide pocket holster for a S&W 1 7/8" Barrel 38 special.
Information About my Holsters
They are made one at a time, completely by hand. No two are alike. My holsters are molded using modeling props by Ring’s Blue Guns, Cooks, and others. These props are made to the specifications of the actual gun itself. My holsters are not one-size-fits-all. They are made to fit a specific model. I use Fiebings stain on my leather products. Custom-made slot punches that are large enough for a 1 1/2 belt to pass through are used on belt holsters. Pocket holsters are designed for a smooth draw, with the holster staying in the pocket. Stitching is all done by hand using Ritza Tiger Thread. Fiebings Resolene is applied to aid in water resistance. All leather gear is made in Altoona, PA, by me.
A horsehide holster offers several benefits over other leather holsters due to the inherent properties of horsehide leather, including exceptional durability, high resistance to abrasions and tears, excellent water resistance, and a natural ability to mold to the body over time.,providing a comfortable and secure fit over time.
